CAHMA (Canberra Alliance for Harm Minimisation and Advocacy) held its first monthly BBQ at Ainslie Village on 4th February; even though it was overcast 62 people attended!

The BBQ was a great opportunity for  CAHMA and the villagers to interact and participate in informal learning exercises as well as enjoy great food.  Argyle supplied drinks and Susan (Community Development Worker) to cook the sausages, St Vinnie’s Blue door supplied the lovely baked pasta and potato dishes and CAHMA supplies the sausages, bread, onions and fruit. The food and conversations where greatly received, and people are looking forward to the next BBQ on 4th March, 2014.

CAHMA also visits Ainslie Village each week to meet with residents and provide information and support.  If you would like more information on CAHMA at Ainslie Village please click here.
