NAIDOC WEEK 2024

What is NAIDOC week?

NAIDOC Week stands for the National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee. It is a very significant week of celebrations in the Australian calendar. During NAIDOC Week we celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Islander Culture that showcases traditions, food, craftmanship, culture and much more!

This year it runs from 7th July, 2024 – 14th July, 2024.  This years theme is;  Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud & Proud.

NAIDOC Week events are held all around the country and often involve music performances, art showcases, cultural workshops, talks, and activities for children.
