For 39 years, our organisation has been committed to providing social and affordable housing, advocating for those in need. Through our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2023 we passionately echo the tenets and values resonating from the Uluru Statement, as they deeply reflect our own.
Argyle Housing are proud to announce our full endorsement of the Uluru Statement, including support for a ‘Yes’ vote to enshrine a First Nations Voice in the Constitution. Through this act, we join the cause to alter the Constitution to recognise the First Nations peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament, which is deeply aligned to our commitment to listening, understanding, learning and strengthening our knowledge and relationships with Aboriginal people, communities and organisations.
This resolution is not merely a statement for Argyle Housing – it is a commitment to our future, a future where representation and fairness are central to building a society that we all can call home.
