NDIS Incident Response

At Argyle Housing, the safety and well-being of our residents and staff are of paramount importance. In the event of an incident, we are committed to taking immediate and appropriate action to ensure that everyone involved is protected from harm. Should you witness or suspect abuse, or become aware of a critical incident, it is imperative to act swiftly and responsibly.

In the Event of an Incident

Firstly, ascertain the immediate safety of all individuals involved. If necessary, remove yourself and others from potential danger and contact emergency services for urgent situations. Once safety is confirmed, report the incident to our designated staff member responsible for community care and safety. They will guide you through the necessary steps and assist with any further actions required.

Critical incidents include situations involving violence, threats, serious injuries, or events that could reasonably be expected to cause significant distress to individuals or the community. Our comprehensive response plan includes guidelines for reporting, assessing, and managing such incidents to minimise their impact and prevent future occurrences.

Argyle Housing maintains clear procedures for incident management and ensures that all our staff are trained to handle these situations with sensitivity and professionalism. We strive to provide a secure environment for our community and empower everyone with the knowledge and resources to maintain this standard of safety.
