This year, Evie from the Finance Team registered the Bowral Argyle office to participate in Jeans for Genes day. The day was a great success and Evie has provided the following report on the fun had by all who attended.
‘I’ve always thought Jeans for Genes was such a neat idea for a fundraiser – wear jeans to work and donate towards a really worthy cause – medical research for kids. Good all round!
And – what a morning tea we had! The jeans theme was put to good use….on the blue tablecloth we had delicious unblue quiche, blue iced cup cakes, jeans-wearing, cheesy little peoples, yum. We also had friands with mango and coconut, fruit scones, chocolate biscuits, nougat and nuts. What a feast! Everyone attending loved the morning tea and even the auditors on site from KPMG joined in with the jokes, laughter and chat.
I thank everyone at Campbelltown and Bowral for the delicious food and all the donations, we raised $146.00. The support and generosity is very much appreciated. Together we can do good things to help others.
