Homeless Connect is a one day event which brings together service providers, government agencies, state services and homeless people / people at risk of homelessness.
The day provides housing and employment assistance, health checks and information, free clothing and footwear, pet care, counselling, support and outreach services, phone, internet and essential services, haircuts, music and a free lunch.
Emma and Danielle from Ainslie Village attended to represent Argyle Community Housing. It was a wonderful day with lots of people attending. We gave away plenty of business cards and information, along with some great Argyle Housing giveaways.
The day was very successful, providing both services providers and the homeless relevant and useful information to use to improve their lives and the lives of the people they help. Emma and Danielle had a wonderful time and look forward to attending next year.
