On the 29th July, Ainslie Village hosted a World Hepatitis Week barbeque with between 70 to 80 people attending.
Ainslie Village was successful in obtaining a grant application for $500.00 to host an event for World Hepatitis week. Management decided to put on a barbeque of steak, sausages and three delicious salads.
Kerrie McKenzie, Education Coordinator and Ester Rosi from Hepatitis ACT attended and discussed testing for hepatitis with interested attendees. Argyle staff cooked and served the food, gave out hepatitis brochures and also handed out a large magnet containing the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating to all participants. The day was a great success and Ainslie Village management thanks Hepatitis ACT for allowing them to host and support a very important day.
