Staff from the Campbelltown and Bowral office braved the cold and spent the evening out in the open helping with the supporting of raising funds and awareness of Homelessness in the Macarthur Region. Argyle proudly supported this great cause by being the Silver Sponsor and donating $500
The evening event kicked off with a welcome to country by Aboriginal Elder Uncle Ivan and hearing inspirational stories of people’s experiences with homelessness and the successful outcomes of their hard journey. Argyle staff were introduced to and chatted with a great group of individuals that work hard for the cause. All were invited to participate in trivia games and guessing statistics regarding Homelessness in the Macarthur Region and enjoy a sausage sandwich, all whilst watching entertainment of a football being kicked around the field by those trying to keep warm.
All in all a very successful evening that helped raise just over $20,000 towards the great cause of setting up projects that would help fight against Homelessness in the Macarthur Region. The event left staff that attended, going home feeling more appreciative of getting into a warm bed, with a safe and secure roof overhead and good feeling of having been a part of making a difference for those in need.
