As a Tier 1 Community Housing Provider, our projects include vital community consultation and placemaking programs that enhance neighbourhood interaction and foster connection to place. Through partnerships and collaboration, we are innovative in our approach to housing and explore new ways of delivering more housing for our communities.
Argyle Housing currently owns 437 properties across NSW and the ACT. Our capable team of approximately 80 staff across specialist teams covering everything from rent services, housing access, social renewal, transitions and client services manage our owned properties along with another approximately 2.500 properties.

Opened in 2015, Common Ground Canberra is an innovative 5-storey development designed and constructed to support a vibrant, inclusive and diverse community of tenants. Based on New York’s innovative Breaking Ground program, Argyle Housing works in close partnership with our support partners, Northside, to deliver and coordinate on-site support to our tenants.
Common Ground, Canberra is a secure access building with 40 self-contained one-bedroom rental units for people on low to moderate incomes. The project is a collaborative partnership between Argyle Housing, the Common Ground Canberra Board, the ACT Government and Northside Community Service.
Argyle Housing is the tenancy and project manager for this affordable rental initiative in Canberra and works alongside Northside as the support service for residents providing a long-term housing solution.

The Griffin Green Affordable Housing is located within Pioneer Housing Estate in Griffith. The project represents a partnership between Griffith City Council and Argyle Housing with $6 million of Commonwealth funding secured from the NSW Government Building Better Regions Fund.
Argyle and Council have both allocated $3 million to support the $12 million project which has been developed to provide new affordable housing options in Griffith. Close to the Griffith City Centre, The Griffin Green Affordable Housing Project saw the development of 20 new medium-density affordable rental housing units and will see the creation of 42 new housing lots.
As part of the placemaking project, Dave Taylor Park will also be transformed to include space for a new community centre, a basketball court, playground equipment, and 4,798 square metres of open green recreational space. Cul de sac roadways are being connected to improve access throughout the neighbourhood.
The Griffin Green Transformation Project aligns strongly with the Griffith City Council Housing Strategy released in 2019. It will create jobs, support the construction industry, meet an identified housing need and help to lead the Griffith community through the post COVID-19 recovery period.

In 2023 Argyle Housing we were successful in receiving $2.6m in funding from NSW Department of Communities & Justice under the Community Housing Innovation Fund towards a mixed Social & Affordable Housing project.
Dwellings: Successful in acquiring 6 dwellings which were a mix of social and affordable housing.

Already successful program managers for the Together Home Program in Tranche 1 and 2, Argyle Housing has been successful in receiving funding of $5m as part of the Together Home Program Tranche 3 with the Department of Communities and Justice. Argyle Housing committing an additional $1m from its NHFIC funding to the project.
Dwellings: successful in acquiring 15 dwellings which was four more than the target for Together Home Transition Program Clients in Southwest Sydney and Wagga Wagga areas.

The Together Home Program aims to support over 1,072 people street sleeping across NSW into stable accommodation linked to wrap-around support. It is a key initiative supporting the Premier’s initiative to halve street homelessness by 2025. Argyle Housing works with support providers in Wagga and Southwest Sydney to provide wrap-around support services and manage the tenancies for the Together Home Program Client Portfolio to ensure successful outcomes.
Argyle Housing committed to deploy $12m in remaining funding from NHFIC to acquire more affordable housing in the locations in which we operate.
Dwellings: this saw 32 additional dwellings acquired across Argyle Housing’s property portfolio in SWS, Goulburn, Albury, Wagga and Griffith.
