Argyle’s tenant participation committees and enthusiastic staff planned an exciting range of Christmas celebrations to see out 2015. These were a great opportunity to reflect on the year, meet new staff and tenants, and to share in a special meal together.

Events included lucky door prizes, raffles, party games and in some cases an appearance by Santa! We’ve collected photos from events in Wagga, Griffith, Queanbeyan, Conder and at Ainslie Village. Thanks to everyone who organised these special occasions and to those who came along.

We so look forward to working with you all in 2016.

“Our Conder tenants and ACT staff shared Christmas lunch on the 16th December 2015 at the Lanyon Vikings club located just down the road from the Kalorama complex.  A wonderful lunch was enjoyed by 32 tenants and many laughs were shared with the ACT team. Christmas Day at Ainslie Village saw approximately 100 people come and share lunch with staff and volunteers.  Cold meats, salads, deserts and drinks were served. The dining room looked fantastic once dressed with Christmas cheer and a great day was observed by all who attended.” – Terri Stiller, Operations Manager – ACT

“At Wagga the tenants presented Joanne Rutter (Team Leader, Murrumbidgee) a gift for all her support and also had a gift for CEO Wendy Middleton. The tenants then presented a gift to all the Wagga staff for their excellent effort throughout the year. This was a lovely surprise as it was totally unexpected. Thank you to all our tenant participation committees for all their hard work and commitment this year! And to all tenants for a great year, looking forward to 2016.” – Amy, Tenancy Officer – Wagga

“Snags on the barby, drinks on ice, Santa handing out present and tenants socializing with each other. Safe to say Griffith tenant Christmas party was a hit.” Joseph, Tenancy Officer – Griffith

“Queanbeyan tenant’s Christmas lunch was a success at the Tigers club. We had a gathering of 20 people in attendance. The local tenants committee raised $445.00 to go to St Benedicts Day centre through volunteering their time to sell raffle tickets and approach businesses in the area for contribution towards prizes. We invited Nikki from St Benedict’s to accept the donation and also draw out our lucky winners today. Happy Holidays from all of us to you!” – Mataina, Tenancy Officer – Queanbeyan
