Festive Season Support

Supporting Our Clients After the Festive Season

The festive season may have come to an end, but for many households, financial pressures can continue well into the new year. To help support Clients during this time, Argyle Housing delivered 430 post-Christmas hampers to Clients across the regions it serves.

This year, rather than hosting traditional regional Christmas parties, the focus shifted to January — a time when budgets are often stretched after Christmas and during the school holidays. For many families, this period can make covering everyday essentials, including groceries and household items, more challenging.

By redirecting resources to post-Christmas support, Argyle Housing aimed to provide meaningful, practical assistance at a time when it can make the greatest difference. The hampers were designed to ease some of the immediate financial pressure and support household wellbeing during the early weeks of the year.

Thanks to the generosity of valued community partners, Argyle Housing was able to provide this support directly to Clients when it was needed most. A special thank you goes to Bowral Mittagong Rotary for their significant contribution, along with IGA Moss Vale, Foodbank NSW & ACT, and We Are Community Inc, who assisted in bringing the hampers together.

These strong partnerships continue to play an important role in strengthening local communities and ensuring Clients feel supported beyond the festive season, reinforcing Argyle Housing’s commitment to care, connection, and community all year round.
