Managing Challenging Behaviours Collaboratively

Workshops for parents/grandparents/carers.

Community Links Wollondilly and Dr Steven Walker of Brief Therapy Solutions are once again running the very much in demand workshops to help families better cope with children with challenging behaviour.  Challenging and disruptive behaviour of children will be the focus of a series of workshops

  • How to look for and identify lost skills in your child
  • Parents as partners in managing behaviour
  • Strategies to reduce outbursts
  • How to make a difference in your child’s challenging behaviour


Next workshop series commences in February 15th 2018

Dates: Every Thursday from 15th February 2018 to 6th April 2018

Venue: Tahmoor Community Centre, 6 Harper Close Tahmoor.

Time: 6.30pm to 8.30pm


The workshops will be presented by Carmel Flavell and Nicole Humphries from Community Links Wollondilly on behalf of Dr Steven Walker.

The workshops will be presented over a series of eight consecutive sessions, each session building on the previous.  The series of eight sessions aim to assist families experiencing the impact of challenging and disruptive behaviours such as suspensions from school and aggression to family members.


The workshops will help parents and carers develop networks and support structures even after the workshops had ended.

There is no fee charged for this course but a gold coin donation at each workshop for refreshments is appreciated.

All 8 sessions are required to be attended.

There is NO childcare available for these workshops.
