As a certified housing provider with 30 year’s experience, Argyle Housing makes finding a home and sustaining a tenancy, easy and stress-free. We are proud to offer a range of housing services for people who are on low incomes and struggling to find affordable housing. To access the housing option commonly referred to as Social Housing you must be able to satisfy eligibility criteria set by the relevant state or territory and participate in an application process that we will guide you through.
Tenant wellbeing is our priority. We respect all people and their diversity and strive to provide continuous support so our tenants can maintain their tenancies. Our dedicated team of Tenancy Officers are available at all offices to link tenants to local services and support.
We also offer a Tenant Participation Committee that meets regularly to plan social activities and educational opportunities. This is a great way for tenants to meet one another and get involved in their community. To join, simply contact your local office and come along to the next scheduled meeting.
Our support is flexible, and we encourage you to let us know if we can better shape how we help you. We appreciate your feedback and we welcome it openly. Tenants are invited twice a year to a local Tenants’ Forum to meet other tenants, Argyle Housing staff and share their feedback, opinions, and advice. The outcomes from these forums shape the way we deliver our service.
Argyle Housing Scholarships are part of an annual education program for tenants, providing up to $1,500 for college, university or TAFE students. The scholarship money can be used to pay for any educational costs, such as school fees, textbooks, specific clothing or computers.
