On Thursday and Friday, Argyle Housing will be hosting two community consultation sessions in Dave Taylor Park, ahead of the Griffin Green housing project aiming to transform the park into a housing estate.
Argyle Housing’s Scott Dunstan says these consultation sessions are a chance for Pioneer residents to say what they’d like to see “activity-wise” in the community hub and park.
“We’ll have a range of boards and activity options that the community can come and choose from.”
Equipment from playground supplier Moduplay will be on display during the consultation.
Mr Dunstan said two consultations have been set up in order to make sure everyone invested in the redevelopment can attend and have their voice heard.
“It’s just a great opportunity to meet and greet people and give them an opportunity to have their say,” he said.
“We understand that some members of the community have school children and other commitments so we are hoping these times fit around these.”
The community consultations are from 4pm-6pm on Thursday and 10am-noon on Friday. They will take place at the Dave Taylor Park barbeque shelter.
